ADHD Evaluations & Testing

Do you, or your child, have trouble focusing and concentrating, getting distracted by almost any little thing? Or, maybe you’re struggling with paying attention to conversations and what is going on around you? Perhaps impulsivity is off the chain. Maybe your friends and family have suggested that this could be due to ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), but these symptoms could also be the result of other things, too. In order to better understand what might be going on, it is best to meet with a trained professional who can clearly identify if you, your child, a loved one, or client meet diagnostic criteria for ADHD. This is where EMS of Virginia comes in with our ADHD Evaluations!
While we most often think of ADHD as something that children experience in school or at home, adults may also experience ADHD. The following symptoms could be a result of ADHD in adults: forgetfulness, procrastination, chronic restlessness, lack of follow through, or being late to most everything. These symptoms might be harder to catch because you might think they’re due to being overworked, burned out, stressed, and having a busy life as an adult. However, if these traits are causing disruption to your relationships and leading to other problems, such as work issues, difficulty managing a household, paying bills, or a host of other adult tasks, then it would be a good idea to get tested for ADHD. This is where EMS of Virginia comes in with our ADHD Evaluations!
EMS of Virginia offers virtual Conners 4, full scale ADHD assessments and testing for adults and children throughout Virginia. This means that you could live ANYWHERE in Virginia and benefit from ADHD testing through EMS! All evaluations will be completed by a fully licensed, trained Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. ADHD Evaluations can be provided to children ages 6+ and adults. Each telehealth assessment includes a narrative report with results to share for school or work accommodations, insurances for treatment coverage, or medical providers for ADHD medications.
The evaluations are self-pay, but priced affordably at $300. We can accept electronic check and credit card payments. The first payment of $150 is due before the assessment. The second payment of $150 is due at the time of the results meeting and in order to receive the full report. You are also welcome to pay the full amount at one time, before the process begins. CSA payments are also accepted via a FAPT referral.
